Mean Green Mowers – Hear the Noise!!!

The video was taken in the US by Mean Green Mowers but the results are just as relevant here in the UK, possibly even more so as our buildings tend to be closer together than the US and more congested which can cause the sound to echo more etc.

It is fact that noise doubles with every 6dB produced and a typical petrol powered mower produces between 95 and 100 dB while a Mean Green Electric Commercial Mower produces a maximum of around 80dB. This means that the noise from 80 to 95 would double twice between the two mowers.

Noise pollution here in the UK is an issue and at this time of year when windows are more likely to be open it can be more of a problem, also parks and open spaces are in general busier with many coming out from work to enjoy the relative peace and quiet. Using a Mean Green Commercial mower can reduce a lot of this as can be seen and when the mower is not actually cutting grass it moves virtually silently.
